PRP
PRP stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy—a popular form of regenerative medicine that uses a patient's own blood components to accelerate tissue healing, reduce inflammation, and promote cell growth.
How PRP Therapy Works

-
Blood Draw: A small sample of blood is drawn from your arm (similar to a routine blood test).
-
Centrifugation: The sample is placed in a centrifuge machine that spins rapidly to separate red blood cells from the plasma and platelets.
-
Concentration: The resulting plasma contains 5 to 10 times higher concentration of platelets and natural growth factors than standard blood.
-
Targeted Injection: The concentrated PRP is injected directly into the targeted area (often using ultrasound guidance for accuracy).
